A MOUNTAIN ATMOSPHERE WITH A SCENT OF ANCIENT TIMES

It sounds like the beginning of a fairy tale, but it’s a real story. With a full palette of pizzas and typical Trentino dishes and a warm, intimate ambience, the La Salera Restaurant-Pizzeria is located in Cavalese, a jewel town enjoying a sun-bathed position in the heart of the Fiemme Valley and facing the snow-capped peaks of the Lagorai mountain chain.

The restaurant was first opened 25 years ago and interruptedly managed by the Masocco family, led by a genuine passion for catering for half a century now. Guests are presented with a wide assortment of pizzas along with the best selection of local specialties which are prepared using top-quality raw materials, local ingredients and seasonal produce.  

As soon as you walk though the entrance door, you immediately realise the restaurant is a family-owned business. It is easy for our guests to feel at home: a delightful cozy ambience perfectly adapts to the serving of traditional dishes reminiscent of meals of the old days. The Masoccos strive to make their guests feel part of the family.

A ZERO-KILOMETER TREAT

At La Salera we serve a genuine, traditional menu based on typical Trentino dishes. Some examples? Goulasch with polenta, barley soup, carne salada (salted meat), knödel, spätzle and strudel.

All the produce and raw materials we use are carefully selected and all rigorously 0 km. Our wines are from South Tyrol, our pasta is produced by Felicetti in the heart of the Dolomites and our water gushes from our valley springs. Cheeses, milk and meats come directly from our own farm. We believe in the importance to preserve and promote local flavours.

We have a capacity of up to 100 people indoor, but 30 additional seats are available in the summer in our outdoor veranda. Open all the year round, La Salera is ready to make your culinary journey an unforgettable one.
